We stand on the shoulders of our ancestors

Hi all, today I had a most interesting experience. As I was driving my mother, aunt, grandmother and others who have left the physical reality came to visit. They told me to consider how far I have pushed the envelope beyond all their achievements. They suggested I examine how far all women have come past the times of their mothers, grandmothers and great-great grandmothers.

I felt the emotional depth of what they wanted me to understand. Women today have freedom that our lineage of women never had. A freedom that many dreamed of.

This freedom we now have stems from the women who challenged their families and their society. The women who made breakthroughs in consciousness to allow a creative space for their progeny to grow.

I look around and see how far we have come. In the last fifty years women have moved from file clerk to CEO, from housewife to TV Anchor, from proof-reader to Award-Winning Author.

I am so grateful that my female ancestors worked to create a space for me to grow into who I am.

In every field, we stand on the shoulders of those who broke ground before us and I just wanted to share with you my gratitude for all who have come before.

We are fortunate to have the freedom to choose our lifestyles, our work, our place of residence and our method of expression. We are even more fortunate to be able to read, write and speak across the world through wires, waves and satellites.

As Saturday turns to Sunday, I just want to say Thank You to everyone who has opened these doors and Thank You to all who are doing even more to create more choices and more freedom in every area of consciousness throughout our galaxy.
