Practice Joy Now - EFT Can Help

What is Joy?

I received a note from a friend a day or so ago. I wanted to share some of it with you, because I think we all go through periods in life like this.

Then below you can see my response, I hope this will help you, or a friend who may be feeling a loss of direction, sadness, or simply feeling stuck.

Here's part of the note:

"So good to hear from you. My heart warmed upon seeing your sweet message at a time when I really needed it.

I have been feeling challenged and unsettled lately. One of the things I'm currently trying to figure out is, which of my desires (e.g., dancing, acting, writing, painting) are "soul hungers" worthy of focus and devotion, rather than merely fleeting urges.

I want to feel like I have aim, focus, and a vision for my life; I am always so impressed (and admittedly envious) of people who seem happy and content because they are living their vision.

I'm also trying to figure out how to attain happiness. I know that it's a state of mind, but I have not attained such a level of enlightenment.

Also, I recently broke up with my boyfriend after two years together. I think this was the right decision, because we both had been unhappy together for some time. But thinking about future love, and what I need going forward simply adds to my current confusion, and I don't think I need the added complication of romantic love in my life at this time.

I sense that this is a great opportunity for growth for me, which is why I am trying not to give into my urges to either wallow in sadness or to try to cover my feelings with false happiness. I guess I am just trying to keep busy and also to allow enough time for introspection."

My reply:

I am sorry to hear of your unhappiness, or should I say confusion. I think you are just at a new plateau in your life. Time to revise your goals and get them into greater alignment with who you are now, what you have learned about yourself, and what you perceive as making you happy.

Happiness can be, a sought-after unknown developed by subconscious media ploys and fairy tales from childhood.

The real key is to live right in the moment. This is where happiness is.

It is not some future moment when we will be in love, when we will receive the Oscar, or get the home of our dreams, or finally receive the proposal we seek.

Happiness is here in this moment. Yes, some of the moments are exhilarating and can make us giddy with joy, but those are temporary moments, less than a single percent of our entire lives - though they leave lasting impressions that we can re-experience when we feel alone or need re-enforcement of our worth.

Practice joy now!

I find passion playing with my dogs, writing to you, singing with Cd's I love, and smelling the sizzling bacon. What we need more than anything is to release the dis-ease created by dreams of exhilarated happiness, and find the joy here and now.

Better not to try to separate which of the many passions you have, as though you can only choose one. Rather remember your life is a buffet of experience. You can do all these things, and as you do, you will find yourself filtering into one more naturally than forcing a choice.

Life is much too short to think, 'What if?'

It is much better to take action, then decide not to continue. This is what you did in your relationship, you gave it a shot, and discovered that compatibility was not deep enough to go the distance. You made a good choice. You learned from it. You changed. Now, you are ready to review and revise your call to the universe.

Keep going, but take the time to see what is joyful right at this moment.

If you feel down, tap out the feelings and realign yourself with the joy. This can be done by starting simply with gratitude for all you have. Make yourself a gratitude tapping list, and start tapping.

(My tapping reference is about EFT, a technique to release emotional issues, stress, phobias and more. I am an EFT-3 Practitioner. If you are new to EFT, visit this link to download the FREE manual: http://www.emofree.com/newcomer.htm )

Here are some things from my 'Gratitude Tapping List'

I am so grateful for my toes, my nose, my eyes, my lips, my ability to smell the blossoms, to taste the ice cream, to experience the wind, the rain, to sleep in a comfy bed with a warm blanket and breezy window, to hear the sounds of nature around me, to walk, and to have friends I can call, visit with, discuss things with. To have the coins to go out to eat, drive a car, share with the poor, travel to the ocean, watch a film, buy a book.

You have so much to be grateful for, as do I, that we must always remember to focus on these things when we feel lost or unhappy. Then put on your dancing shoes, go to a friendly dancing spot, and dance the blues away. You will come home feeling filled with life again.

Movement is life, whether it is the movement of your body in dance, or the movement of deeply breathing in the morning air. This activates passion, and passion is joy.

I hope this will help you find focus, and more important rediscover your joy.

Meaningful joy is not the toothpaste commercial falling in love, which advertisers embed deeply into our subconscious.

But rather meaningful joy, is capturing every moment in life in all its passions, even in the tears of loss. This makes us know we are alive, and in that there is true joy.

Blessing always,

Michele

Astrology - Where is the Love?

The Fifth House and The Loves Of My Life

Hi Everyone, I have now scheduled a thrice weekly visit, so you can learn more astrology and discuss it.

Today I will be on Debra Clement's radio show: www.contacttalkradio.com at 3pm Pacific Time. We will be discussing the 5th house and the loves of your life.

We received a letter from a listener, born July 12, 1953 at 11:51 AM in New Haven, CT

Here is what the listener wrote, and we will discuss:

i feel my soul aches and have been lost my whole life - the past # of years working more intensely than ever.
i don't know if i am making progress or not. suffer from depression / anxiety can be crippling at times.
no home or financial security- no love for over 20 years - i am ready for a happy life.
The note is terribly sad, even the "i"s are small making me feel the person is not happy and has a low self-esteem.

By looking at the chart, we will see from where this stems, and also may find ways to help the individual.

Here is the chart:

Looking at the fifth house in this chart, you note the sign of Aquarius on the cusp at 8 degrees 14 minutes.

Aquarius on this cusp tells us that this individual has a loves: eccentric, unique, unusual, different, revolutionary, freedom-oriented, friend-oriented, people, hobbies, social activities, lovers, and this would also the way they would connect with children. So there may be unique children in this individual's life - not biological. Please note that to Spirit, children are not necessarily human beings, but may be businesses, books, art, or anything that can speak to the world without the original creator or parent.

Aquarius needs freedom to express its opinions. It is also a sign that in and of itself, does not require love. It is content to love all life. Now this does not mean the individual reflects that in every way, but it does indicate a deeper, underlying, subconscious drive to be friends instead of lovers. This can cause a subconscious rule to avoid being tied down.

Since there are no planets in this house, we do not have anything here to contradict these statements, or to expand them. So next, we look to the rulers of Aquarius in the chart to see what they are saying and how they interact with each other, the chart as a whole and perhaps the 5th house cusp.

The rulers of Aquarius are Saturn and Uranus. You noticed Uranus as soon as you looked at the chart because it sits at the midheaven (the top) in the 10th house. So immediately, you know that one of the loves of this individual's life is being seen, investing in a career that is unique or gives the individual lots of freedom, variety and likely travel.

Uranus is exactly conjunct Mars, and is also actively conjunct the Sun, all in Cancer. This indicates the individual will put their energy and personal drive into their career, which may have to do with property, family, or nurturing, or all of the above.

The Moon and South Node are also in this house, in the sign of Leo telling us there is a desire to lead, to socialize, to play, to love, to laugh, to entertain, and to make a career of all these things. The node tells us the individual brings leadership & star qualities from past lives. That they will have the talents necessary for this lifetime's career. Literally that they were born with skills to lead, and be seen.

However when we look again at the connection between the Sun and Moon, we note they are 18 degrees apart, in different signs, indicating they do not communicate.

This tells us that the parents did not communicate well when the individual was born, and that results in a lack of balance between the male and female parts of the consciousness. The desire for love is there through the moon in Leo, but by placing it in the 10th house, it dismisses lovers for the public, leadership, entertainment, and career.

Now take a look at the contact between the rulers of the house of love, Saturn and Uranus. They square each other creating a challenge to love. Saturn is in the Libra ruled first house, exalted in Libra conjunct Neptune, so immediately we know this person is beautiful, photogenic with beautiful skin. But this Saturn/Neptune combination is in a square to Sun, Mars, and Uranus in the house of career, and then we note, thee is still another issue arising from the fourth house Chiron, creating a T-square to the personal Saturn in the first house.

So now we see where the injury to love stems - emotional injury early in life while still in the home of the mother and possibly coming from the absence of emotional support due to a father being away from home, absent or not nurturing. It may also reveal the mother was absent and that an older woman took care of this child. The fact that Chiron is so directly opposite the Sun seems to emphasize the absence of the father due to career.

So when we take these factors into account, the individual has an emotional struggle with a lack of self worth due to a lack of nurturing and emotional response from a male parent.

When the individual resolves this issue the possibility for happiness will manifest.

Now remember we have based all of this on the natal chart, and have not reviewed the progressed, or transiting planets, which will clue us into where the individual is today, how they have worked with these issues and what other factors are now present.

One last note, in case you missed it, Mars, the planet of energy, is also the ruler of the seventh house of Marriage, since it is conjunct Uranus, and square Saturn, while opposed to Chiron, we get a lot of pictures about the possibilities of marriage for this individual. Indicating if marriages occur they will happen suddenly, move swiftly and end abruptly and most likely quickly.

Again this does not mean that the individual cannot overcome this, they can. But they need to resolve the subconscious factors that cause these actions. All of this stems from self-esteem issues.

Naturally there is much, much more that can be said about this chart, as with all charts, they tell the story of a life, every aspect of it is embedded here, and I could talk for days about it.

Now it's your turn to listen into the program, to hear the individual's response. I have never met or spoken to this person, just received the birth data you see above.

If you miss the show, I will be posting a link here later tonight.

See you soon, tweet me with questions, my name on twitter is TAMOOR

Talk soon, Michele

To Best Friends - HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY

Pretty, Wonderful Peppy

It has been a traumatic, hectic week. One that ended today with Valentine's Day - a day when we cherish everyone we love. A time to indulge in love, chocolate, hugs, kisses, and all the endorphin kickers. A day when red heart shaped balloons float above registers in most stores, reminding us of all the Valentine's we have experienced.

What a day.

One week ago, our beloved seventeen year old English Pointer was making her midnight rounds, checking the perimeters of the property like she has done every night as long as I have known her. After giving her warning to the four directions, she banged the doggy door, and came inside.

Within an hour, my husband woke to the sound of her trying to get up. He thought she must have lost traction on the hardwood floor and went downstairs to help her.

But tragedy had struck, and Peppy had lost the use of her hind legs. She could not stand up.

Joe stayed with her all night, attempting to keep her calm as she struggled with fear, and the inability to regain control of her limbs. Joe piled up some of the many beds I had bought for her, wanting her old bones to find soft padding in every room in our tri-level.

Early the next morning, Joe woke me, and told me what had happened. Exhausted Joe went to bed, and I went to the family room.

Immediately seeing me, Peppy attempted to get up to greet me. She struggled, and I sat close to her. I rubbed her hind legs. I massaged her back. I cried knowing that if a miracle did not occur, she would not be able to adjust to this lack of mobility.

So went Sunday. We took her for a short ride outside in our red flyer filled with pillows. It gave her a little comfort to feel she would not dirty herself, though we diligently cleaned up after her. We wanted her to feel safe, to know we loved her, and that she was good, loved, and that nothing could ever change that. She looked so tired. Finally in the late afternoon she fell asleep for a little while. Joe was also sleeping upstairs, and I worked while keeping an eye on her.

I thought of our many times together. How she loved to chase a stick, dive for rocks, and hike for miles with us. How she always followed me around the house, slept on the futon behind me as I worked and Joe worked or played golf away from home. How she snuggled against me, and licked my face when I cried, and wanted me to be happy. She always loved, always watched, always cared.

Back in 2000, we had hiked to Eagle Lake in Tahoe. It was June 27 or 28th, and there was still snow on the ground. Pepper promptly found a stick to carry, which she always did when we hiked. Then Joe and I found walking sticks. Pepper and Joe quickly outpaced me. I lagged behind with lots of other people on the trail, each making their way to some area around the lake at the top.

At some point, Pepper turned to see where I was, she noticed me, and the really large stick I held. She dropped her stick and raced to me. Then began a tug of war for my hiking stick. I laughed, and hollered for Joe to call her. Everyone around me stood laughing as Peppy attempted to take the biggest stick. She was amazing.

When we finally got to Eagle Lake, it started to snow. The water frozen in some places, must have been freezing cold, but Pepper dove in, and began her favorite routine. Searching underwater for rocks to present to us. She could hold her breath for as much as eight seconds while digging below the water to release a choice rock, before surfacing. Then she would dive back down, get the rock in her mouth, and present it to one of us. It was too cold, I pulled her to me, afraid she would freeze. We put an extra sweatshirt on her and I snuggled with her to keep us both warm. She was such a love.

A few years back, while living in Reno, a family of raccoons, a raccoon mom, and three grown youngsters, moved into our garage...they liked eating cat food. Pepper ran them out of the garage to the back porch, where Pep fiercely snarled at the mother coon, who hissed back showing teeth and claws. It was a terrifying sight. Calling Pepper off, Joe sprayed the coons with water.

Pepper feared nothing. She would protect her family from anyone or anything.

Joe & Peppy at the lake

Her best friend and mentor was our Mr. Jags, a big, intelligent, gumbie cat. He raised Peppy, as well as our other two cats. He was the cat of cats, not to be kept inside, but to wander and then come home in the evening. When he would return home, he always found Pepper and licked her face. You can see a picture of them here. This picture was taken last March, a short time before Mr. Jags died. He was nineteen years old.

Old Friends - Pepper (16 years) and Mr. Jags (19 years)

It has been a hard week, and to say the least it has been a difficult twelve months.

Best Friends for more than sixteen years

On Monday morning, we took the twenty-two mile drive to the vet, to release our lovely Pep from the body that would no longer work for her. We brought her home and buried her on our land, not far from Mr. Jags, and across the yard from our big sweet orange cat, Mr. Sousi, who also died last year after Mr. Jags. He was over twenty years old

I want to say lots of things about all of these friends because it is Valentine's Day and I love them, each of them and the many that have gone before them over the many, many years I have lived. So I am adding pictures to honor them. To share their love, and I hope you will snuggle with you friends, and lover, and recall all the beings who blessed your life with unconditional love. These wonderful life forms, whose language we seldom understand, but who try relentlessly to understand ours, to teach us love, and who bring us incomparable joy and friendship. We are so lucky to share our world with them.

Hugs to each of you...may your life be blessed with unconditional friends, who make you laugh, lick away your tears, and beg you to exercise with them so you can both live long healthy lives.

Worlds Apart - Lessons in Differences.

First I will say HAPPY NEW YEAR! Welcome to 2009, year of balancing, relationships, karma, the old and the new, and radical revelation.

Also the Chinese Year of the Ox. A year where perseverance will lead to success. A year to roll up our sleeves, dig into the earth, and recognize the value of being a part of the cycle of life.

I have been working on the astrological forecast for 2009, and should have it up in the next few days.

But for now, I want to share an amazing experience I have had.

In the last 48 hours, I have worked diligently to expand our InkjetReset business. I have connected with people on mainland China, Hong Kong, Korea, Indonesia, and Germany.

And I went through the motions of getting orders together for both DVD collections, and software from Asia. Though, I am obviously a good writer, and I ask many questions, only one person gave me a completely honest answer. That answer ended the experience, closing all the deals I had nearly completed.

What did that email contain? I will quote a piece of it for you, and it will open your mind to the vast differences between cultures, and governments. I have added the words in blue to help you understand what is being stated.

All the software we sell, is Not registered, Michele. it is copied. The ISBN is just a sign, except this, the contents are completely the same. ... you can not get original ones from China at ... any price even if you have money, you can not get an original. ...Everywhere in China, it is the same, and everyday we sell a lot of it. Our customers are all over the world. Credit is more important than money, otherwise, you do not know that is copy. I just do not want to cheat you and it is up to you buy or not.

This wonderful, honest person gave me insight, and protected me from a business transaction that could have had alarming consequences.

So why am I sharing it with you?

For two reasons.

First to give you a heads up if you are considering purchasing software, dvds, or cds from China. Save your energy.

Second, and most important.

What you believe you will achieve.

What you send out, shall return to you a hundred fold.

Water seeks its own level.

I believe all the people who come into my world are wonderful. I believe everyone, and everything in my universe, is here to teach me mastery.

Each day of my life, I send love into the world, no matter what I see, what I hear, or what I read, and I have witnessed, time and again, how it returns to shower, embrace, and protect me.

For it is the law of creation, that what you send forth will return to you many times over.

And consciousness is a magnetic energy. Thus whatever we carry in our state of consciousness, we will attract in life. In all things, our energetic thoughts shifting in our state of consciousness pulls unto itself the same level.

Once more I witness the wonder of creation at work in my life.

Look around, what is happening in yours?

Blessings to you for a wonderful New Year... may it be filled with all you carry in your heart, mind and soul.

What A Wonderful Christmas

Are we in recession?

Is there a depression in your world?

Despite these things, if you had food, family and friends, you should have had a great Christmas.

We did.

Even though family is far, far away, the wonders of technology brings us close. This year with the new google video chat, we visited with family all over the world. How wonder - full is that?

This Season warms my heart. It reminds us of all we should be grateful for.

Though we have no children, or grandchildren to share it with, we do have our pack, so here are a few pictures of our two youngest dogs - both Labradoodles - enjoying their presents.

Cosette rips open her present

Cosette opens another present, while Joe reads, and Pumpkin looks out the window

I think even the Grinch would have to smile seeing these precious beings enjoying this totally foreign ritual we do each year.

Bubba checks out Cosette's present

We are so fortunate to have many forms of life on this planet. Each contributes - as the Native Americans call it - medicine.

Each carries their own medicine, and we humans are fortunate to interface with them, and gain from it.

There is an old saying in the "Red Way", that when a creature crosses your path, you are being blessed with their medicine. So you may want to consider this as you travel through life.

The dog of course contributes love, loyalty, awareness, and protection.

Birds will bring all manner of messages, some warnings, some love. Consider the crow, and the blue bird, and you will figure this out.

Wolves will precede a learning experience, because they are the teachers.

Foxes warn you their is a trickster around you.

Bears tell you to slow down, consider your decision. Sleep on it before taking action.

What a delight to engage with nature, to remember we are part of this magnificent cycle of creation, from the stars to the seas, from the mountains to the rivers. All life breaths the same air, and shares Gaia.

I wish for you the wonder of the cycles, from youth to crone, may you become aware of the medicine around you.

May the wisdom of Creation expand your love of life.

And, may you find peace in the warmth of introspective winter.

Blessings to you and all life forms in your world.

Thank You For Voting - Entering The Age of Aquarius

It has been a long, long election process. And I am grateful to everyone who participated in this ground-breaking event.

When I started writing this post, it was yesterday, as usual I was interrupted, and did not arrive back to this page till 12:44 am Pacific Time, long after the people left Grant Park in Chicago.

I am sure that anyone who has been following this blog realizes how glad I am that America chose Barack Obama to lead our nation.

Here's how I feel about it...

Now finally after 45 years of having to witness the vision Spirit gave me as a child, you know the one I shared with you in the past, where two people were sleeping under the American flag and one thread was raveling, and each time I was shown this vision over the years, there was more thread, less flag, and still the people slept, well now I know they are awake!

America is awake!

I am free of the horror of witnessing that vision!

Thank you, thank you, thank you!

And I know that God (Creator, Allah, Yawah, whatever name you wish to give the greatest power of the universe) does bless America!

Welcome to the beginning of the Age of Aquarius. The age that requires cooperation, conversation, healing, and inventive, revolutionary approaches to life.

Thank you Barack Obama, Michelle Obama, David Plouffe, David Axelrod, Grandma "Toot" who I know is so proud and watching from another level of consciousness, Oprah Winfrey, Malia, and Sasha, and everyone who has supported, inspired, or influenced this wonderful soul. I am so grateful to turn the page of revolution away from bloodshed to a revolution of consciousness.

As spiritual law has it, "Energy shall never be expended till the exact moment of necessity."

The last time I witnessed the vision there was only one star left on the bed, the room was filled with thread and the people still slept, that was in January 1994, 14 years ago! I had no idea a star could last fourteen years. I am so grateful.

Blessings to everyone. Thank you, good night.

What Can The 44th President Expect?

80,000 Iraq & Afghanistan Casualties
350,000 Iraq & Afghanistan Veterans
VA Shredder Scandal
Bush Pardons

Still thinking the Bush Doctrine is a good thing? Look on this page to the right, and you will see the bill we are paying.

What you don't see is the cost of care for casualties and veterans.

Sarah Palin, when asked, did not know what the Bush Doctrine is. It is the right to premptive strike against a nation who has not attacked or declared war against us. Yes, it is going to war because we 'think' they may attack.

Acting out of fear in the realm of metaphysics is called - reacting.

It is the unfortunate result of living in the future or the past, and not living in the present. When we live in the present moment, we take steps to achieve positive outcomes.

When we live in fear of the future, we react to situations that have not yet happened. This leads to creating things that are not there - like WMDs.

In your own life, you can cite times when you reacted to situations that were unclear, and which due to your own inability to reach out, to say I do not understand, to ask for clarity, to communicate with wisdom, you reacted, and in the end became disappointed or hurt.

The Bush Doctrine is directly opposite wisdom.

Below is a note I received this morning. It is from Veterans For Common Sense, and it details some of the results of this Iraqi Premptive Strike, the shock and awe of American power taken without the voice of the people.

It also asked you what you think will happen after this election and a new president is declared. I am posting a poll so you can answer the questions that Paul Sullivan of Veterans for Common Sense asks.

Veterans for Common Sense Makes Three Predictions for November 5

What do you think might happen after the elections, no matter who is elected President? VCS offers three sobering predictions.

Prediction Number One. One Million New Iraq and Afghanistan War Veteran Patients May Flood into VA.

So far, we know President George W. Bush's doctrine of pre-emptive unilateral war caused 80,000 Iraq and Afghanistan war battlefield casualties. The Administration's failure to plan for the wars' long-term consequences led to 350,000 Iraq and Afghanistan war veterans seeking medical care at VA hospitals - with many waiting months for assistance.

Based on 2006-2007 VA data, Harvard University Professor Linda Bilmes and Columbia University Professor Joseph Stiglitz estimated a total of 700,000 patients may flood into VA hospitals and clinics, costing taxpayers $700 billion over the next 40 years.

VCS increases their conservative estimate: one million Iraq and Afghanistan war veterans may seek VA assistant based on four new factors. First, the number of service members rose from 1.6 million to 1.8 million, and the number is expected to rise to 2 million, meaning more veterans will be eligible for VA services. Second, our economy is in a deep recession, pushing even more veterans into VA. Third, multiple deployments are taking a significantly higher toll on our overstretched military. More than one-third (630,000) of our troops went to war twice or more, increasing their risk of developing a combat-related mental health condition by 50 percent, according to an Army study. And, fourth, the military and VA are conducting more PTSD and TBI screenings, which are likely to identify even more patients who will need VA care.

Prediction Number Two: The Growing VA Shredder Scandal May Lead to House Cleaning at the Veterans Benefits Administration.

The outstanding reporting by Larry Scott at VA WatchDog and William R. Levesque at the St. Petersburg Times reveals that up to two-thirds of VA's claims processing offices may have shredded critical documents.

Since the fiasco and scandal is so widespread, many fingers are pointing to top political appointees and executives at the Veterans Benefits Administration. Are their days numbered? Will the next President clean house and restore VA's reputation?

Prediction Number Three: President Bush May Issue Hundreds, Possibly Thousands, of Pardons.

The period between November 5 and January 19 will be known as the "Lame Duck" period for President Bush. VCS predicts President Bush may issue hundreds of high-profile criminal pardons before leaving office. High on the list will be Vice President Dick Cheney, Karl Rove, and Lewis "Scooter" Libby, Donald Rumsfeld, and many others. These individuals were involved in ordering or concealing the illegal torture of humans on American soil, at Guantanamo Bay, Cuba, and at Bagram Air Base, Afghanistan.

Others were involved in illegal domestic spying and who knows what else that will be uncovered after January 20, 2009.

Our most surprising post-election prediction? Given the large number of President Bush's disastrous decisions, many of them overturned by Congress and the Supreme Court, President Bush may issue a full and unconditional pardon to himself. Remember, President Gerald Ford issued a full and unconditional pardon to President Richard Nixon.

VCS asks you - What do you think? How many Iraq and Afghanistan veteran patients will flood into VA? Will VA be prepared? Will the next President clean house and reform VA? How many pardons will President Bush issue? And will he pardon himself?

VCS remains on the front lines documenting, tracking, and publicizing problems facing our troops, veterans, national security, and civil liberties. We urgently need your help to keep up our efforts to make sure our veterans get assistance and to make sure those who ordered torture are held accountable. If you would like to make a donation to VCS, please click here It is tax deductible.

I personally am absolutely certain that the president will make all the pardons noted including himself.

I also believe this should not be allowed and the Congress should change this law.

No president should ever be allowed to use his privilege of pardon to pardon members of his administration, himself or members of a former administration unless there is conclusive evidence that the person has been wrongfully indicted.

Where is this law? And why do we allow these people to rape our nation and then give them the power to be above the law. This is pathetic and if I were in the Congress I would push for a change in this right now before these actions take place.

Well I know you are thinking, so write your comments, and vote on November 4th or sooner, and vote in the poll too.

When Will Americans Wake Up? They need more than coffee!

I continue to be appalled by the lies that are spewed by those who covet power. It was so in the days of the Neanderthal - so how far have we come?

Worse than that is the people who listen and believe those lies.

In this cyber age, we have the resources to examine in great detail all manner of information. We have the ability to build our own trail to connect the dots. So why do Americans listen to this rabble and not check the facts?

We are, without a doubt, at one of the most dangerous precipices. The mundane (ingress) charts of America are running in tandem with the mundane charts of France as it mounted the French Revolution. That was certainly one of the bloodiest civil wars in history.

Yet, the people of this country continue to fall for lies. Is the consciousness so low for many parts of this country that they cannot make the transition?

This election, like every election I have ever witnessed in this life or any other, offers no complete solution through a candidate. This is because no candidate can be all things to all people. They have the priorities that their lives have led them to address, they have the issues they must uphold that others push them to address in order to make a mark of leadership.
And then they have the issue of diplomacy where they will have to either leave it alone, or convert, because there are powerful factions in the nation calling for something to change or stay the same.

This is an enormous challenge. To simply define their direction should be their most important message. So why do they resort to disgusting, distractions, which create fear and cause people to vote for them for all the wrong reasons?

Today I heard one of the tapes that Senator McCain is auto-dialing across America and I was stunned with disgust.

This tape alluded to the connection between Ayers and Obama. A connection tenuous at best, that people will respond to because they have not done their homework to examine who Obama is, what he stands for, or how he has conducted his life to this point.

Here is a comment left on the Washington Post's fact checker site, regarding the Obama - Ayers connection:
Six degrees of separation type connection. I have done community work locally with individuals I barely knew and found out later that they had previous criminal records. Now if I run for office will I be guilty by association? With this kind of logic serving diner at a soup kitchen can be politically damning act.
So clearly written.

I have worked with many people in my life. Some even lived in my neighborhood. I considered each as soul in the presence they exposed to me. Good people. I did not investigate their backgrounds before I worked with them. I did not ask if they had committed a felony or been arrested.

Why would I do this? People of faith, are taught to let God lead. They hold in their hearts all the love they pour into their world, and until someone shows them otherwise, they trust.

I am ashamed for McCain in his method of
inciting fear and hatred against Obama, a man who innocently worked for an Anti-Poverty Group for the benefit of his community, and a result of this interaction is being called a pal to terrorists.

I pray Americans will take the time to see the truth.

I am elated that Colin Powell, a long- time friend of McCain, stepped forward yesterday to support Obama. Here is a voice of reason stating many of the things I have said.

Here are few quotes from the General's talk with Mr. Brokaw on Meet The Press:
"In the case of Mr. McCain, I found that he was a little unsure as to deal with the economic problems that we were having and almost every day there was a different approach to the problem. And that concerned me, sensing that he didn’t have a complete grasp of the economic problems that we had. And I was also concerned at the selection of Governor Palin. She’s a very distinguished woman, and she’s to be admired; but at the same time, now that we have had a chance to watch her for some seven weeks, I don’t believe she’s ready to be president of the United States, which is the job of the vice president. And so that raised some question in my mind as to the judgment that Senator McCain made."
"I’m also troubled by, not what Senator McCain says, but what members of the party say. And it is permitted to be said such things as, “Well, you know that Mr. Obama is a Muslim.” Well, the correct answer is, he is not a Muslim, he’s a Christian. He’s always been a Christian."
But the really right answer is, what if he is? Is there something wrong with being a Muslim in this country? The answer’s no, that’s not America. Is there something wrong with some seven-year-old Muslim-American kid believing that he or she could be president? Yet, I have heard senior members of my own party drop the suggestion, “He’s a Muslim and he might be associated terrorists.” This is not the way we should be doing it in America. ...."

"I feel strongly about this particular point because of a picture I saw in a magazine. It was a photo essay about troops who are serving in Iraq and Afghanistan. And one picture at the tail end of this photo essay was of a mother in Arlington Cemetery, and she had her head on the headstone of her son’s grave. And as the picture focused in, you could see the writing on the headstone. And it gave his awards–Purple Heart, Bronze Star–showed that he died in Iraq, gave his date of birth, date of death. He was 20 years old. And then, at the very top of the headstone, it didn’t have a Christian cross, it didn’t have the Star of David, it had crescent and a star of the Islamic faith. And his name was Kareem Rashad Sultan Khan, and he was an American. He was born in New Jersey. He was 14 years old at the time of 9/11, and he waited until he can go serve his country, and he gave his life. Now, we have got to stop polarizing ourself in this way. And John McCain is as nondiscriminatory as anyone I know. But I’m troubled about the fact that, within the party, we have these kinds of expressions."

I am in total agreement with Colin Powell, and I personally cannot consider McCain for the presidency for these and many other reasons, and I want to share with you some of them.

His voting record toward Vets is appalling. Yet he has the audacity to say he supports our troops, and wants to continue this war for as long as it takes, even a hundred year, till we win it.

Here are some of McCain's erratic statements regarding the war in Iraq

  • "Because I know that as successful as I believe we will be, and I believe that the success will be fairly easy, we will still lose some American young men or women." (source)

  • "We're not going to get into house-to-house fighting in Baghdad. We may have to take out buildings, but we're not going to have a bloodletting of trading American bodies for Iraqi bodies." (source)

  • "But the point is that, one, we will win this conflict. We will win it easily." (source)

  • "But I believe, Katie, that the Iraqi people will greet us as liberators." (source)

  • "It's clear that the end is very much in sight." (source)

  • "I meant that there are neighborhoods that are safe in Iraq, and he does go out into Baghdad, and the fact is there has been significant progress..." (source)

  • McCain's escort through Shorja was 100+ soldiers, sniper teams, 10 armored humvees, 3 blackhawk helicopters, 2 apache gunships, predator drone coverage; McCain was wearing a bulletproof vest and allowed to take off his helmet only when authorized. (source)

  • When asked if he had an idea of when troops would be coming home, said "No, but that's not too important. What's important is the casualties in Iraq. (source)

HIS VOTING RECORD ON VETERANS NEEDS IS APPALLING!

  • Voted against extending troop deployment times in the USA to match deployment times in Iraq. (source)

  • Voted against repealing a capital gains tax cut which would have funded soldiers. (source)

  • Voted consistently from 2003-2007 against additional funding for Walter Reed Army Medical Center. (source 1, source 2, source 3)

  • Voted to table a bill that would have provided funding and equipment for Guard and Reserve units. (source)

  • Voted against additional funding for the mental health care of troops. (source)

  • Actively opposed the GI Bill that would increase education benefits to soldiers; was one of three senators who didn't vote on it; one was in the hospital and one was at a funeral; he was campaigning. (source)

HIS STATEMENTS ON THE ECONOMY ARE FRIGHTENING
  • "I'm going to be honest: I know a lot less about economics than I do about military and foreign policy issues. I still need to be educated." Denied saying this in a primary debate. (source)

  • "The issues of economics is not something I've understood as well as I should." (source)

  • Added Arthur Laffer and Phil Gramm to his campaign economics staff. (source 1, source 2)

  • "I don't have the kind of expertise to know exactly whether he has cut interest rates sufficiently or not." (source)

  • Debate question, are Americans better off than they were 8 years ago: "I think you could argue that Americans overall are better off, because we have had a pretty good prosperous time, with low unemployment and low inflation and a lot of good things have happened. A lot of jobs have been created." (source)

  • Wants to cut capital gains taxes. (source)

  • Has 118 lobbyists working for his campaign. (source )

  • Phil Gramm is McCain's man on economic issues. Gramm is one of the most loathesome of the former Republican officeholders advising McCain. He's on the board of Swiss bank UBS and was registered as a UBS lobbyist until April 18th of this year.

His wife Wendy was on the board of Enron when Enron imploded, stealing millions of tax dollars from California taxpayers. And Phil Gramm pushed legislation that helped Enron steal their money. The Gramms are ... rich from all the corporate money they've been pulling down.

As Senate Banking Chairman in the 1990s, Phil Gramm authored the bill that repealed the Depression-era mortgage regulations, and allowed basically any kind of corporation to give loans, without regulation, which lead directly to the mortgage crisis. Then he quickly left the Senate and went to Swiss banking giant UBS.

  • Phil Gramm is McCain's chief economic advisor, even though Gramm opposed cracking down on tax havens, like those used by bin Laden, shortly after the 9/11 attacks. (source )

  • Phil Gramm is one of the key lobbyists who fought to deregulate the mortgage market. (source)

  • And, Phil Gramm and Enron were joined at the hip! (source)(source)(source)

I will leave it here for now, but I will be back later in the week to continue, because the reasons I will not vote for McCain are extensive, and it is important that we know the facts before we vote. I pray you will examine them. Ask yourself what is really important to you -
  • Is it your income?
  • Your home?
  • The war?
  • The solvency of our banking system?
  • The increasing number of homeless people?
  • The need for care of our Veterans?
  • Our national image?
  • Our environment?
  • Our failing infrastructure?
  • The issue of torture?

I will leave you with this last youtube video. But I must warn you, Palin's true brutality is witnessed here, and you may not have the stomach to watch it.

But this, along with library censorship and witch hunting, is why I could not ever vote for her.

Sarah Palin - Debater or Debutant? Aquarians Win 20% of US Presidential Elections

I know some of you like Palin - she is gutsy, challenging, courageous, interesting, quirky, unique, inventive, and in control.

She has qualities that many women admire, and attributes that many men desire.

A breath of fresh air many have said, and others consider it a terrific heat wave from the great northern ice queen.

Sarah Palin is an Aquarius by birth, and in many ways by aspect. She charges the chart of the United States by directly activating the U.S. Moon, and thus the people of the nation. She activates them emotionally, exciting them. She activates their curiosity and also makes them feel at home with her as their personal leader.

While Barack O'Bama's Leo Sun also activates the U.S. moon through a wide orb opposition, his Uranus electrifies the people dealing a close opposition while linking his South Node directly to the U.S. Moon. These indicate strong ties this man has to this country.

Barack O'Bama is someone who has been part of this nation in its founding time. His south node speaks of karmic ties to the people, and his North Node (one's karmic, or soul mission) is conjunct his Uranus, and they both closely conjoin the Midheaven of the United States chart. The significance of this cannot be understated. It tells of someone who returns from a mothering or founding time in the nation to bring forth a revolution, to clear out the emotional issues that block the dreams upon which the nation was founded. And to re-establish the international image that was the original revolution's dream.

America was born under an Aquarian moon, and you can see this influence throughout our society. We love the unique, unusual, inventive, and strange. Halloween is a favored holiday, as is April Fool's day. We celebrate ghouls and fools, tricks and pranks.

We are a nation that desires a genius, and we admire someone who stands out beyond the 'norm', someone who will speak their mind, carry their soapbox, and have defined values. Sarah Palin exemplifies what America desires through our Aquarian moon. While Obama electrifies, revolutionizes, and directs our Aquarian desires.

Here is a look at the five Aquarian Presidents:

8th President: William Harrison (whig) - died in office of natural causes
17th President: Abraham Lincoln (republican) - Assassinated
24th President: William McKinley (republican) - Assassinated
31st President: Franklin D. Roosevelt (democrat) - died in office of natural causes
35th President: Ronald Reagan (republican) - Suffered an attempted assassination

11 of the 55 times America has held a presidential election, we have elected Aquarians.

That is a whooping 20% of the time!

Franklin Delano Roosevelt is the only president ever elected four times.

In our history:
4 presidents have been assassinated. 2 were Aquarians.
4 presidents have died in office of natural causes. 2 were Aquarians.
4 presidents suffered assassination attempts. 1 was an Aquarian.

What does all this tell you?

It says we as a nation resonate to Aquarian leadership.

On a personal level, when someone's sun conjoins your moon, you feel an immediate attraction, you feel they are leaders, their ego is appealing, and you instinctively want to nurture them.

As a nation, the people of the country also relate.

Each of the presidents listed above either had a sun conjoining the U.S. Moon, or their Mercury conjoined the Moon, and they also had a wide orb or mid-point activation from their Sun and Venus.

Sarah Palin has Sun, Mars and Saturn activating our Moon. Will she create enough resonance to make America vote McCain?

This astrologer says unlikely.

I believe the Mars and Saturn issues will create enough of a reverse reaction that she will slide out of the race, and eventually out of view.

The fact that Palin's Saturn and Mars are on our Moon, at a time when the nation is at war, needs more structure, more discipline, and renewed energy; it is possible she will make us aware of these needs. But will we embrace her for it? Or will we learn because of her?

As an astrologer, I have looked at all forms of competitions seeking the winner. I have proven you cannot identify a winner in all races, and it is astrologically impossible to identify a winner in team sports. But about 70 to 80 percent of the time, you can use astrology to find the winner, if only a few individuals compete.

I have successfully proven that astrology cannot identify clear winners all the time, but it will identify a dead heat. If there is no dead heat, it can identify the winner.

Before Sarah Palin entered this race, there was no dead heat. Obama would be the clear victor. None of the other candidate's charts could activate America as strongly. But when Palin's chart entered the race, a competition began.

This highly-opinionated, odd and unusual beauty queen from far off Alaska has a planetary magnetic resonance that can wield the attention of this nation.

Ask me how I feel about that. Not so good.

After the Vice Presidential debate, this is what I came away with. I am quoting a comment I made on Buenos Burritos blog:

Sarah Palin, a Terrifying Choice - that's what I need to write on my car bumper.

I watched the debate and thought each time they flipped back between Biden and Palin, Joe (my husband) must have been switching channels from the VP debate to some beauty pageant contestant.

She had all the depth of a Miss America contestant, all the glam and all the wink. She sparkled, sassed, slighted, slid, slipped up and satisfied herself, giving only satisfaction to the small single minded conservative base that stirs around her.

The rest of us pray we will wake from this strange nightmare where a hockey mom, with a custom made Austrian rifle winks at us, while repeating the word maverick ten times. Then the camera pans back and we see she is seated behind the desk in the oval office. She turns to a man in the doorway saying; "First dude, give me a kiss."

In the background music plays, and Judi Collins sings - "That's right it's come to this. It's come to this. And wasn't it a long way down? And wasn't it a strange way down?"

Vegetarians Don't Vote For Sarah Palin

I received a comment this morning that called for a great bumpersticker:

Vegetarians don't vote for Sarah Palin

My response:

I am so with you!

Palin's record shows she has a barbaric state of consciousness.

How someone can call themself Christian when they torture and kill innocents - and revel in it - denotes a level of consciousness that Christ attempted to raise people from.

Christ was a nice person and a master of love. He would never agree to torture another human, no less one of God's divine innocent creatures.

We are at a turning point in our history. If the U.S population elects Palin, they have made two clear statements.

One - Racisim is alive and well in this country.
Two - They have no idea who Christ was, and have just bound church and state - the very thing this nation was born to untie.

Sarah Palin's agenda is wrapped up in her religious beliefs. She is no friend to Divine Beings because she does not recognize them. This is a lack of consciousness and thus may take lifetimes to develop. To choose such a person to lead a nation is indicative of the people resonating to this level of consciousness.

We as a nation are far more polarized in consciousness than in parties. It is this that must be addressed.

Many years ago, I lived in the South. I had not been there very long before I had a conversation with a highly educated government official. To this day that short conversation still chills me.

I stood on a street corner speaking amicably to a man I thought must be intelligent and conscious (this of course is a frequent mistake everyone makes - thinking whomever they are with has a similar level of consciousness or awareness.)

Being new there, I said to him, "I have a question." He nodded for me to continue. I pointed down the street to my left, to a church. I said, "There is a Baptist church on this block. Then I turned to my right and pointed to another building, saying, "And there is a Baptist Church down there. Why is it that only black people go to that one, and only white people go to this one?"

The man leaned in, and said in a whisper: "Well you know, they have no soul."

I stared at this man. I could not find words to say. I was completely outside of understanding. His Christianity had no connection whatsoever to Christ.

I realized in that moment the low level of consciousness regarding life forms that this man carried. And that that must be the same for many in the South.

Now as we witness this election with Sarah Palin, perhaps, and I cringe saying this, perhaps this is the same level of consciousness carried by most of the people in this country.

I cannot reach through to that level. I knew in that moment so many years ago, that nothing I could say could help anyone at that level see the divinity in all life.

It is breaking through this wall of ancient consciousness that we as a nation are up against in this election.

Anyone who has reached a state of consciousness that identifies the Creator's creations as divine - cannot access the lower levels of consciousness that are still barbaric.

So we must be grateful that we can see, and that we have compassion for life.

We must ask Spirit to pour light on those who do not. Ask each day, that their awareness of creation will grow, and their hearts will open.

We need to pour love into the world. And I know this is so very difficult when we are angry, or trembling with fear of what might be. But that is the job of the conscious ones. To lift others through love.

And for all those who call themselves 'Christian' I wish each to reflect on what Christ would do. Emulate this master of love. Doing so, raises consciousness.

It is through blessing all life that love, and consciousness grow. And in time hearts will open to compassion instead of power, dominance and hate.

Did You Say You Want Censorship, Sarah Palin?

Many years ago, in the early 80's I moved to the town of Wilson, NC. As a teacher of metaphysics and an advocate of free speech, I went to the local library to see what books were available on metaphysics. What I found did not shock me - there was not a single book on metaphysics in the entire library. Nothing to give an inquisitive mind anything to chew on, or to raise questions about the universe. Nothing to offer any viewpoints outside of the bible.

I went home and picked out about eight books with various perceptions about the bodies of man, and the universes, mansions or planes of existence other than the physical realm. I took these books to the local librarian, wishing to donate them.

The librarian looked at the books and then at me, and then said essentially; "We do not take books like these."

To say I was horrified would be an understatement - but being a metaphysician, I did not allow that to cause me discomfort. I took the books home and that night I shifted my consciousness to a higher level where I entered the library and asked to speak with the librarian. An angel stood beside me. As the librarian stood before me, I read her the Bill of Rights. I explained to her how important it is for libraries to be centers of freedom of speech, places where all opinions can be heard. I expounded that to censor books is to cut off the rights of Americans to know, and to destroy the purpose of these centers of knowledge.

When I had finished, she said nothing but I felt her awareness had shifted.

The next day, I went back to the library with the same books for donation. I walked up to the same librarian and offered the same books. I made no reference to the day before. The librarian looked at the books, took them and said thank you.

I am sharing this to open your mind to other ways to work with people, and also to help you realize how very important a free, open library system is to me.

Libraries must be free states of consciousness. Places where minds can find similar, as well as, opposing views. We cannot grow in knowledge if we do not think through opposing views.

To remove the opposition is to kill the ability to expand consciousness. One does not have to follow opposing thought but should always consider it. To blindly follow is no better than assuming one is right. And I need not go into where assuming will take you.

So to Sarah Palin - possible Vice President - and thus possible President of the most powerful democratic country in the free world, I want you to think deeply about who this woman is and what she wants for America. Her actions since she became mayor of Wasilla in 1996 speak volumes. Forget her "Come and test me attitude!" And look at the facts.

Here is a link to a site titled Librarians Against Palin. On it you will find a clip from an ABC investigation into Sarah Palin's attempt to censor her local library.

Please think deeply before you vote. This president will take us into 2012. If you wonder what that means, I will elucidate one piece of it here.

What you have seen in terms of earth disasters is only the beginning. There will be many. You will see escalation of these earth changes this Fall. What we need to focus on, as I stated back in the early 90s, is to repair the infrastructure of America. We need a president who will take our trillions, and invest them in this country, not in war. We are very late in that process, very late.

So late in fact, that I do not believe either candidate can fix America. But if one, at the very least stops the war, and starts investing in this nation, we will save millions of lives.

I do not want to scare anyone, I just want you to look at the facts. What I have stated for years has become a reality around us. From bridges collapsing to dams and dikes breaking, we do not have the current funds to help our people. So why would anyone with any common sense want to spend our funds to fight a war, which has raged for thousands of years, which is based on religion, and which we cannot resolve.

Bring our troops home, stop the war, start investing in this nation because it is collapsing around us. You have just witnessed the biggest buy out of a financial institution in U.S. history.

It will not be the last. We are on the verge of the greatest depression in our history, and McCain and Palin say nothing about how they intend to fix it.

Please review the facts.
